Cinema City ranked second in the main ranking of Puls Biznesu Stock Exchange Company of the Year 2009 (10 March 2010)
Cinema City International, N.V. has been ranked the second in the main ranking “Stock Exchange Company of the Year 2009” composed for 11th time by Pentor Research International for the Puls Biznesu journal. The Company has taken the first place in the category Quality of Product and Services and the third place in the category Success in 2009.

Puls Biznesu composed the ranking „Stock Exchange Company of the Year” for the 11th time. Specialists from the capital market, 180 people, analysts, investment advisors, traders, participated in the research evaluating all the companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Research was conducted by Pentor Research International. Awards were granted in 5 categories: Success in 2009, Quality of Products and Services, Competency of Management Board, Investor Relations and Perspectives. Awards have been granted during the special gala in the building of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Ranking had a honorary patronage of the Ministry of State Treasury of Poland Mr Aleksander Grad.
Cinema City International is the largest multiplex cinema operator in Central & Eastern Europe and in Israel. The Company operates 69 multiplexes with 668 screens, in 6 countries (Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Israel). There are 42 more multiplexes under development, which will offer over 426 new screens. In addition, Cinema City is actively involved in cinema related advertising and film distribution.
In 2009 Cinema City sold 27,5 million tickets in six countries, 23.8% more compared to 2008.
The Cinema City group employs over 3,000 people in 6 countries.
