Approval of Cinema City’s prospectus
The prospectus of Cinema City International N.V. (“Cinema City”) - the largest operator of multiplex cinemas in Central and Eastern Europe is approved by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (the “AFM”). Polish Financial Supervisory Commission (the “KNF”) has already informed the Company that the AFM provided the KNF with the certificate of approval of the prospectus. It means that Cinema City can carry out the offering of its shares to the public in Poland (based on single European passport).
- The Cinema City chain is growing rapidly. We are strengthening the leader position in Central and Eastern Europe and a leading theatre operator in Israel. During last two years we opened eleven multiplex cinemas, including three IMAX® theatres. Most of the new openings took place in Poland, which is the most important market for our business. The expansion is going to be continued in current and new markets. Part of investments we would like to finance from the proceeds obtained from public issue. The offering is scheduled in the nearest time – says Moshe J. Greidinger, the Chairmen of Cinema City.
The offeror will be CA IB Securities S.A.
